Down in Marshall, Michigan, the American Museum of Magic has so much stuff, even THEY don't know the full history of some of the items or how some of them are supposed to work. So, they're calling in the experts. In September, they'll be getting help from a group called the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works. According to the Battle Creek Enquirer, the museum displays about 10,000 items, with another 800,000 in storage. Experts from that organization will help the museum manage their collection, part of which is figuring out the history of some of the items - and because were talking about "magic" artifacts, how some of them work.

In addition, on July 22nd, the AMM will hold a gala featuring a performance by magician Jeff Hobson. Click here to visit the website for the full details.
