Man Dressed As Stormtrooper Raises Lots Of Money For Charity
He walked more than 93 hundred miles over 420 days in Star Wars Stormtrooper armor. He went through 30 pairs of shoes and raised $100,000 for charity.
His name is Scott Loxley and he is a member of the 501st Legion, a global Star Wars costuming group. He decided back in November of 2013, that he wanted to put on the armor and walk around Australia to raise money for the Monash Children's Hospital. And that's exactly what he did. He crossed the finish line on Monday.
I would love to see someone do this here. Can you imagine seeing a man walking along US 127 dressed as a Stormtrooper? That. Would. Be. Awesome.
