Major Road Construction Project DELAYED In Lansing Area
The Ingham County Road Department has announced that the major traffic shifts at the Jolly Road and Okemos Road intersection have been postponed until next week due to inclement weather. The revised schedule calls for the shift on Jolly Road to take place on Monday, April 9th and the Okemos Road shift is expected to happen on or about Wednesday, April 11th. When the traffic shifts do get underway, Jolly Road will be shifted into the southern eastbound lanes and Okemos Road will be shifted into the eastern northbound lanes.
Keep in mind, however, that construction work to widen the road base will still be continuing on both Okemos Road and Jolly Road utilizing outside lane closures.
