Longtime Lansing Area Bar Is Closing
They've been serving customers for over four decades at the Wooden Nickel in Dansville but that is coming to an end. According to the Lansing State Journal, the owner recently decided that it was time to close due to "challenges over the years finding good people who had the right work ethic." They will be having a "Last Bash" at the Wooden Nickel tomorrow, (Tuesday, 6/5/18) starting at 3pm. As part of the "Last Bash," customers can enjoy food and drinks while supplies last. (Cash only.)
An auction is scheduled to take place in August to auction off the bar and restaurant area and the two parking lots as well. You can keep up to date on the auction information on their Facebook page.
