Lansing’s Beerfest At The Ballpark Returns This Weekend

Beer, food, and live music… What more could one ask for? How about enjoying it all at your local baseball stadium? Well, that’s what’s going down this Saturday!

This Saturday, April 28th, is the 5th Annual Beerfest at the Ballpark at Cooley Law School Stadium. According to their Facebook event,there will be over "300 craft beers from over 50 Michigan breweries" to choose from, so basically it's a beer lover's DREAM! Some of the breweries that you can expect to see include Founders Brewing Co., Right Brain Brewery, Lansing Brewing Company, and many MANY more!

There's going to be more than beer there too! You'll have the chance to sample mead, hard cider, and spirits as well. And new this year for you beer connoisseurs, is the opportunity to sample some extremely rare beer! (plus, it comes with some light appetizers) To get access to the rare beer sampling, you have to buy a "Rare Beer & VIP Ticket", which is $65.

Tickets are  on sale now, but no word how many are left (especially the VIP). Advance tickets are $30 and include a tasting glass and ten drinking tickets; VIP tickets are $40 and it comes with a tasting glass, 15 drinking tickets, and early entry. There will be tickets on sale at the door, IF there are any left, those are $40.
