Lansing Police Investigating Counterfeit Money Cases
The Lansing Police Department is investigating several cases of counterfeit money being used at local businesses. Officials say there have been approximately 10 cases in the last two weeks involving counterfeit money. Along with counterfeit cash, police also say that another group of counterfeiters used fake movie money props.
The counterfeiters are mainly using the fake money at area restaurants. Police are urging residents to check their money to make sure that it is real. If you need some help in determining if your money is *real*, you can check out the Secret Service website by clicking here.
