The Lansing Board of Water and Light has given Lansing residents the heads up.

According to a post on their Facebook page, Lansing BWL is going to be doing some emergency water flushing "in the area of N. Waverly Rd., N. Grand River Ave. and Tecumseh River Rd. " The flush will take place from 8 am until 3:30 pm on Thursday, June 21st (tomorrow).

Lansing BWL says that some people may see discoloration in the water during this time, but even if that's the case, the water is still safe to drink and use. But, if you have any issues or concerns you can contact Lansing's water department at (517) 702-6490. Check out the map of the affected parts of Lansing in the post below.
