The ice has finally melted off Lake Michigan. Recently, according to the Daily Mail, a Coast Guard helicopter was patrolling and taking photos of an area off the Leelanau Peninsula, northwest of Sleeping Bear Dunes, when they spotted several old shipwrecks. Some of the shipwrecks are from ships that sank more than 150 years ago.
