Don't panic just yet, but Johnny Manziel just tried out for the Lions.

To be fair, 12 NFL teams were in San Diego yesterday for the University of San Diego's Pro Day. It was a chance for the teams to check out four of the school's seniors who are wide receiver prospects. And they needed a QB to throw to them, so...

TA-DAH! Johnny Manziel appeared. (And he was in the stands at the UofM/Texas A&M game last night to see A&M get destroyed by the Wolverines)

According to MLive.com, two years after being let go by the Browns after he had, ahem, some personal issues, Johnny is on a comeback tour. He's mentioned that he would be open to playing in the NFL, CFL in Canada or the revamped XFL when it starts back up in two years. Apparently he's even mentioned to somebody that he'd be willing to play for free.

The good news is, according to Daily Mail Online, he's sober now and just got married to his girlfriend, Bre.

Hmm. Maybe he's worth another look. Especially if he's playing for free.
