Jeff Gordon Shocks the NASCAR Nation

Jeff Gordon will no longer drive a race car, full time, after 2015. He announced yesterday that, "I've decided 2015 will be the last time I compete for a championship". He then went on to say, " there's always the possibility I'll compete in selected events, although I currently have no plans to do that."

He continues to have problems with back spasms after several years. He had said, in the past, that if he WERE to retire, his back would be a major reason.
