It’s NFL Draft Day – And a Bunch of MSU Spartans Are Headed to the Pros

It's Draft Day. The real one - not the one you put on in your basement every August for your fantasy football league. And in Chicago, tonight and tomorrow, many of your favorite Michigan State Spartans will become pros.

According to a Fox Sports mock draft, the first two Spartans expected to go in the draft are lineman Jack Conklin and QB Connor Cook.

Connor has had some weird criticisms leveled against him by "draft experts". But at least nobody has criticized his cooking. Yet. Check out this story from Slate.com about Eli Apple from THE Ohio State (with a bonus story about Peyton Manning).

After Conklin and Cook, expect these Spartans to go: Shilique Calhoun, DE, Aaron Burbridge, WR, Jack Allen, C, Joel Heath, DT, Lawrence Thomas, DE

Plus, a few more will probably be signed outside of the draft.
