It’s National Sea-Monkey Day – here are the Sea-Monkey facts
Today, it’s National Sea-Monkey Day in the United States. I don’t know when they celebrate in other countries (Canada? You’re with us on this one, if you want). When I was a kid, I had Sea-Monkeys. Here’s the thing – they don’t live long and they don’t build or carry around anything like ants in the Uncle Milton’s Ant Farms. But they were cheap and your mom wouldn’t freak out about the possibility of them getting out. I got mine by mail order from an ad in the back of a comic book (probably Mad Magazine, I bet), but apparently you can still buy them on Amazon. Which proves you can buy anything on Amazon.
Thanks to NYDailyNews.com, here are all the facts you need to converse intelligently about Sea-Monkeys.
