Lots of people throughout the state of Michigan are cleaning up after yesterday's windy conditions. With the storms, many people--myself included-lost power during the storm. So, today one of the things you need to clean up (if you have power back) could possibly be all of the food in your refrigerator. I'm always a little confused as to what's safe to keep and what's not to safe to keep after a power outage. Here's some help courtesy of FoodSafety.gov:

**Your food should be safe as long as power is out no more than 4 hours. Keep the door closed as much as possible. Discard any perishable food (such as meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and leftovers) that have been above 40 °F for over 2 hours.
