A week and a half ago, while you were safe in your living room watching "Cops" reruns, Lady Gaga walked into a dive bar called "The 5 Spot", in Nashville.

She wore a pink cowboy hat (at least that's what SOME PEOPLE call it) and a rhinestone jacket. And no pants.

She picked up a guitar, sat herself on a stool and started singing country songs. One of them was "Million Reasons", written by herself and Hillary Lindsey - who co-wrote "Jesus Take the Wheel" for Carrie Underwood,  "Girl Crush" for Little Big Town and about a bazillion other hit country songs. And then she took off the hat and jacket and went back to being the Lady Gaga we all know and love.

Her country persona is called "Joanne", which is also the name of her new album that comes out this Friday. She's also scheduled to do the Superbowl halftime show in February.

CMT.com has more pictures and a video of the concert at "The 5 Spot". She doesn't start singing until about 28 minutes in, because this was Facebook Live event.

Again, these days in America, you just never know what you'll wake up to.
