We can thank Kokomo, Indiana for a lot that's good. Kokomo was the home of the world's first Ponderosa Steakhouse. The home of Rupert Boneham (the guy with the beard that everybody loved from Survivor) And, the place where stainless steel tableware was invented.

And now they'd like to thank Michigan, for our strawberries. According to WTTV, in Indianapolis, tomorrow's Kokomo Strawberry Festival was unable to get strawberries from California, this year ( I know - that doesn't make sense to me either) So, at the last moment, they found a strawberry vendor in Michigan, who provided the 4,000 pounds of frozen strawberries they'll use for strawberry shortcake.

Kinda thinking that Michigan vendor might get a call next year, as well. Sorry, California.
