1993 - "Late Night with David Letterman" airs for last time on NBC-TV. On August 30, 1993 "Late Show with David Letterman" debuted on CBS-TV opposite "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. David Letterman retired earlier this year with the last episode of "Late Show With David Letterman" airing May 20, 2015.
