I'd like to preface this by saying that I am in no way, shape, or form an expert on the ins and outs of football and it's rules. But, I would say that I know enough to make this statement: The NFL should pick a different way to handle overtime.

The way my fiance explains overtime in the NFL; there's a coin toss, the winner of the coin toss gets to choose whether they kick or receive, but most teams choose to receive because (and here's where I think the NFL needs to come up with a better idea), if the receiving team scores a touchdown on their first possession, the game is over. I feel like the other team should get some kind of rebuttal.

As it turns out, Justin Moore is not a fan of the NFL's overtime rules as they stand either. Check out his tweet below.

If you don't agree with Justin, no worries, we won't hold it against you! No matter how you feel about the NFL's overtime rules, you are more than welcome at Taste of Country! Taste of County will be Friday, June 9th at Cooley Law School Stadium, sponsored by your neighborhood Michigan Ford dealers. Get you tickets HERE.
