So, this was what I ran in to yesterday on my way home from work. The new railroad crossing gates and lights on Aurelius Road were malfunctioning and it appeared that no one (including myself) knew what exactly to do. Don't worry, I took the photo while my vehicle wasn't moving. I, like the cars in front of me, sat there for a few minutes to try and figure out the best way to proceed. That is until the van behind me went zooming by. (Sir, if you have your company name on the side of your van, perhaps you should drive a little less recklessly....just sayin'.) Anyway, after carefully going around the gates I called 911. Later in the day, I wondered if calling 911 is what you're supposed to do when this situation happens. Thanks to Google, here's what I found on how you should handle the situation. Drive safely!
