Holt vs Mason District B-ball Championship Tonight

I live in Holt. Let's make that clear from the very start. However, let me also say that I have never attended a Holt High School basketball game. That being said, let's talk about the big game tonight in Mason, shall we?

A lot of people *assumed* that the boys from Grand Ledge would beat the boys from Mason this week, therefore, forcing a rematch between Holt and Grand Ledge tonight for the district championship. The Mason Bulldogs, however, had other plans and beat Grand Ledge on Wednesday 62-60, and Holt beat Richland Gull Lake 81-68, so tonight the neighboring towns of Mason and Holt will face each other in the Class A district championship in Mason. Game time is set for 7pm.

So, now there's a good possibility that tonight will be my first Holt High School basketball game. (I'll be the one in neutral colors eating popcorn.) I just know that the long drive from Holt to Mason will be a treacherous one...have you seen the potholes on Cedar?? Good Lord!

Anyway, good luck to both teams, who do YOU think will win? (And yes, I know, the photo is not a high school basketball.) :)
