Holiday Trees

The 70-foot Blue Spruce Michigan State Christmas Tree went up at the Capitol Grounds in an elaborate ceremony on November 22nd...and the Obama family welcomed the official 18.5-foot White House Christmas Tree last Friday November 29th.  If you're planning that trip to Washington D.C., the White House Tree will be set up in the Blue Room.   I made the trip downtown to see the lovely Michigan tree...gorgeous as always.  And, as I travel through the city I see lots of my neighbors have their holiday decorations up and glowing.  I walk past the boxes in the garage each morning but haven't been inspired yet to drag them into the house...maybe this weekend!
