A 29-year-old from Kentwood, Michigan recently won big with a $25,000 Lucky For Life ticket.  But the bigger news (in my opinion) is where that ticket was purchased. According to the Michigan Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at the Speedway on March Road in HaslettBhavik Patel matched the five white balls drawn on April 23th to win the big prize. Patel purchased the ticket when he was visiting his sister who lives in Lansing.

Patel also told lottery officials that he didn't know that he had won until his dad went through his stack of lottery tickets and discovered the winning tickets. Patel chose to receive his prize as an annuity and will receive annual payments of $25,000 for life or 20 years, whichever is greater.
