Grand Ledge & DeWitt Advance To Diamond Classic Championship Game
This year's Diamond Classic championship game will be held at Cooley Law School Stadium on Wednesday, June 6th between the Grand Ledge Comets and the DeWitt Panthers. According to the Lansing State Journal, DeWitt beat the Holt Rams in the semi-final game at Cooley Law School Stadium last night 7-4. On Monday, Grand Ledge beat Lansing Catholic 3-1 in the other semi-final game to advance to the title game. The Diamond Classic championship game will start at 7pm on Wednesday.
Other baseball teams that participated in this year's Diamond Classic included Mason, Fowlerville, Pewamo-Westphalia, Williamston, Portland St. Patrick and Fowler. Click here to see the results from all of this year's Dean Shippey Capital Diamond Classic games.
