We talked about it. We jealously watched it take off in other cities. We dreamed it would happen here. And now, it's all coming true. Axe throwing is coming to Lansing, Michigan.

We're told that this Friday (June 8th) Bull's Eye Axe Throwing, on W. Mt Hope in Lansing, is opening to the public.

According to their Facebook page, soon you'll be throwing standardized axes (none of that crazy "Forged in Fire" TV stuff) at their new place. Perhaps that will lead to a spot on one of their axe throwing teams (they follow World Axe Throwing League rules) . And when axe throwing becomes an Olympic sport (we are working on that, aren't we?) you'll be standing on the podium, axe in one hand, gold medal in the other. The world is about to become your oyster - which you'll soon be able to split open, with your axe, at 12 feet.

Bull's Eye will also be available for birthday and (this should be interesting) divorce parties.

Good times, people. Here's their Facebook page.
