Trust me, I'm not poking fun at this. I know I have always had an uneasy feeling about even driving floats in a parade, so there's no way I would want to try to drive a pace car...with a bunch of people watching...and a bunch of people behind me who drive fast for a living.

The Detroit Grand Prix took place over the weekend and according to the Lansing State Journal, earlier today Mark Reuss, who is an executive at General Motors wrecked the pace car during the parade lap with Mark Sandy, who is the manager of electronics at IndyCar in the passenger side.

The good news is that apparently nobody was hurt in the incident.
