Give Somebody the Gift of a Meteor Shower

Let's say somebody you know is having a birthday. And this is somebody who you've celebrated many birthdays with. You've sent this person cards. You've bought this person presents. Maybe it's a husband or wife that you've spent a lifetime with. And now you want to do something really special for their birthday.

A company based in Japan, the ALE Company,  has actually come up with a way to create meteor showers. It's pretty easy, really. Meteor showers are really just small particles coming off comets and hitting the atmosphere. So, if you can launch something into low earth orbit full of particles that you can drop - VOILA! - meteor shower. And according to rocketnews24.com, the ALE Company will be ready to launch their first meteor shower in a bag in 2016. So, you could have a meteor shower instead of fireworks for your birthday or wedding. Or, for your Super Bowl halftime or Olympic opening ceremony. Because they estimate your meteor shower will cost you around $4 million.
