If you are looking for a four-legged fur baby to add to the family, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to find one!

According to the Ingham County Animal Control Shelter (ICACS) website, they're hosting their annual "Adopt-A-Fest" this weekend at Potter Park Zoo. This annual event kicks off this Friday, June 1st at 12 pm, and will go until 6 pm on Saturday, June 2nd. During the "30 hour adoption extravaganza", dogs and cats waiting for their fur-ever homes will be available for reduced adoption fees. Last year, 43 pets found homes!

Also happening Friday is the ICACS "monthly low-cost vaccination clinic for the public." There will be reduced prices on distemper shots and microchips, and free rabies vaccines. All this will be taking place at Potter Park Zoo during Adopt-A-Fest. Get more details on the event here.
