It's definitely autumn in Michigan now. Bow season started Sunday, Michigan and Michigan State play this Saturday night - and tomorrow night, when the full moon rises, you'll be looking at this year's "Harvest Moon".

According to Treehugger.com (yes, that's a real website), the full moon occurs at 2:40PM tomorrow, but here in mid-Michigan we won't see the moon rise until 7:34PM. (And, in a dramatic dress-rehearsal, it rises at 7:02PM tonight)

Usually the Harvest Moon is in September, but this is the closest full moon to the autumnal equinox, so - congratulations, October.
