Get a haircut!

If I live to be 100, I'll never forget the time that Magglio Ordonez was up at the plate for the Tigers, and some mean woman, loud enough to hear on TV yelled, "Get a haircut!". Wow.

Maggs eventually did get a haircut and look who else did:

Prince Fielder. Sporting a new cut with his new team, the Texas Rangers.

Admittedly, I was on the fence about Fielder no longer being a Tiger, but I wish him the best.

The baseball player in my house tells me with Prince moving from Comerica ("a pitcher's park") to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ("a hitter's park"), Fielder could hit 30 to 40 homers next season.

We'll see. Either way, I've learned not to bet against my son when it comes to the game.
