Gas Prices In Michigan Are On The Rise
Have you noticed that it's costing you a little more to fill that gas tank? According to the Detroit News, AAA Michigan says average gas prices statewide have risen about 8 cents in the past week to around $3 per gallon. As of Monday morning, the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline is about 51 cents more than at this time last summer. You'll find the cheapest gas prices in Michigan in the Traverse City area where it is $2.90 per gallon. The highest gas prices in the state are currently in the Jackson area where they average around $3.04 a gallon.
