Over the weekend, former Michigan QB Tom Brady and his Patriot teammates received their Super Bowl XLIX rings at a party at owner Robert Kraft's house.(BTW - next year will NOT be called Super Bowl "L", it'll be Super Bowl 50)  According to nesn.com, the rings are white gold with 205 diamonds and are the biggest Super Bowl rings ever made.

How much did the rings cost? The NFL pays up to $7,000 a ring, for up to 150 rings, for the winning team. That's over a million dollars this year - just for rings.

Maybe that's why beers are so expensive at NFL games.

Here's the story - with photos of a "blinged out" (is that a thing?) Tom Brady.
