Former Michigan Postal Worker Pleads Guilty To Stealing Gift Cards & Cash
A former postal worker in western Michigan has pleaded guilty to federal charges of stealing gift cards and cash from residents on his delivery route. The suspicions started back in June when 26-year-old Alexis Odelin was confronted by an angry resident about a missing gift card that had been used to order a pizza.
Officials say Odelin stole approximately $452 worth of gift cards, cash and other valuable items from the mail. Odelin's sentencing is scheduled for January 23rd 2017. Here's video that WOOD-TV posted of the confrontation that happened earlier this year:
