Ford Issues Recall For Vehicles With Shifter Issues

Michigan based Ford Motor Company is issuing a recall.

According to WLNS, Ford is issuing a recall for approximately 350,000 trucks and SUVs that may have issues with the transmission shifter. The issue being that "a clip that locks the gear shift cable to the transmission might come loose." So far, Ford knows about one crash and one injury because of this issue. Additionally, the recall only affects vehicles in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

The recall affects "the 2018 F-150 pickup and Expedition large SUV with 10-speed automatic transmissions. Also covered are 2018 F-650 and F-750 trucks with six-speed transmissions."
