Get ready for a whole lot of Green and White at Lansing's annual kick-off to the holiday season!

According to WILX, MSU's own Sparty will be "the Honorary Grand Marshal for 'Silver Bells in the City.'" As Honorary Grand Marshal, Sparty has lots of duties, including getting the Electric Light Festival rolling and taking part in the parade!

The Electric Light Parade is just one part of all the fun at 'Silver Bells in the City'; there's also

  • seasonal food and drink (like yummy hot cocoa!)
  • a holiday sing-a-long
  • State tree lighting ceremony
  • fireworks
  • live concert

If you want to take part in all the fun, the Silver Bell Village opens at 5 pm, the parade steps off at 6 pm, and the live concert begins at 8 pm. Get all the details about the 33rd Annual 'Silver Bells in the City' here
