With all the rain and snow we've gotten over the last few days, the water levels have become super high. I was driving past Ferguson Park, right near the Okemos-Mount Hope intersection, and the water levels were so high from the Red Cedar River that you couldn't even see the opening at the bottom of the slide!

The National Weather Service has issued flood warnings for several rivers throughout "Southwest Lower Michigan", including many in the greater Lansing area.

  • Grand River at Lansing
  • Sycamore Creek at Holt
  • Red Cedar River at East Lansing
