The National Weather Service has issued several Flood Watches, Warnings and Advisories for the Mid-Michigan area and beyond. There is currently a Flood Watch in effect until Tuesday morning for people in Ingham, Eaton, Barry, Jackson and Calhoun Counties. There is also a Flood Warning in effect for the area near Sycamore Creek in Holt. The Sycamore Creek Flood Warning also continues until Tuesday morning. More showers and storms are expected today and heavy rain may lead to flooding in areas near I-96. The National Weather Service also says that some storms today and tonight have the potential to become severe with hail and high winds.
