To get around the law about not being able to take their dog EVERYWHERE they go, some people buy vests that identify their dog as a service animal - when the truth is - the dog has NO special training.

This shouldn't be happening in Michigan, because, as of January of this year, there's a registry of service dogs, with associated ID numbers, that employers and business owners can check to make sure the dog is really a TRAINED service animal.
