About Lansing Promise
The Lansing Promise Zone provides scholarships to any student who lives in the Promise Zone
and graduates from a high school located in the zone. These include graduates of school
district, charter, private and parochial high schools. The authority may establish a grade point
requirement for students to continue to receive their scholarships once they are in post-
secondary education, but there are no academic requirements other than high school
graduation to determine initial eligibility for Promise scholarships.
Kellie Dean, Chair, Lansing Promise Zone Authority Board, stated: "We are excited about this
exceptional family experience that will introduce a beautiful visual experience in a fun
atmosphere while also benefiting Lansing Promise. All monies received will enhance the
Promise Zone assets that are distributed to deserving local students."
