Danae's Race is in honor and memory of Danae Baucom who passed away on May 26, 2010 from a drug overdose. The event is put on by her family. All proceeds are donated to the National Council on Alcoholism/Lansing Regional Area (NCA/LRA) Glass House in Lansing, MI. The Glass House is a substance abuse treatment center for women. Let's all gather together for this event to raise awareness on substance abuse and do our best to make sure that drug related tragedy doesn't afflict others!
