Enjoying Some Adult Beverages In East Lansing For St. Patrick’s Day? Here’s Where You Can Park For Free!

Drinking and driving is NEVER the answer. Especially when there are sooooo many other options! We're lucky here in the Lansing and East Lansing area... There are plenty of taxi services, the ride sharing service Uber, as well as transportation via the CATA bus system. This St. Patrick's Day, East Lansing is offering up something is practically never has... FREE OVERNIGHT PARKING!

According to WILX, East Lansing is specifically offering free overnight parking to deter drunk drivers. So if you end up driving yourself into East Lansing for a pint, there are four different spots offering free overnight parking:

1. The metered spots on Evergreen Avenue, right behind the Peoples Church.
2. The lot right next to Dublin Square, located at the corner of Albert and Abbott.
3. The West Lot of East Lansing City Hall.
4. The parking lot off Bailey street between Grand River and Albert. It's the lot behind Chipotle and the Peanut Barrel.
