Back in 1953, when he was only 18 years old, Elvis Presley walked into Sun Records in Memphis and recorded the song "My Happiness." For $4, Presley was able to take with him a copy of the 78 RPM record, meant as a gift for his mother Gladys. But, apparently, Presley stopped at a friend's house so they could listen to it first and left the record there. That recording sat in his friend's safe for decades. However, today, it will be auctioned off at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. That recording, along with a bunch of other memorabilia, is up for auction on what would would've been the King's 80th birthday.

And...in another auction coming up in February, two of Elvis Presley's private jets are going to be sold as well. Yahoo, has more information about that auction that you can read here.
