Gird your small pets and bird feeders... a coyote has been spotted in East Lansing again.

According to WILX, The City of East Lansing let residents know that a coyote had been spotted on King Court, and area "just south of Patriarche Park" as of Thursday morning.

Be sure to accompany your small pets outside. The DNR also says that getting rid of "bird feeders and keeping trash and pet food indoors" is a good idea to deter coyotes in the first place. If you spot a coyote, be sure to stay a safe distance away. However, if you find that the coyote comes close, "try to scare it off by yelling, clapping or making a loud noise."
