Uh oh. Traveling in downtown Lansing just got a little crazier. According to WILX, the Lansing Board of Water & Light steam project is underway. It's a three-phase project that won't be completed until September. The BWL is replacing their downtown pipeline which will cause some traffic issues around Michigan Avenue and Washington Square. (For the first phase...) The company says their pipes in that area are over 100 years old.
