WLNS reports that authorities discovered "an extensive marijuana growing operation" near the 96EB/496EB interchange. That's what caused that area to be shut down for so long today. That interchange has since been reopened. At this time, one person has been arrested in relation to the discovery.

It all started in the wee hours of this morning when police responded to a call a 2:40 am. A driver passing the interchange reported seeing a male carrying, what they thought, was a body wrapped in a blanket to a wooded area. Police began the search, but it wasn't until the sun started to come out that they found out what he was really carrying... pot plants.
