Dierks Bentley Has A New Band (Sort Of)
This morning during the Nitty Gritty from Music City, we told you about Dierks Bentley's new alter-ego band. They call themselves, Hot Country Knights, and they are a band that loves country music from the 80's and '90s. Dierks plays the role of Douglas "Big Rhythm Doug" Douglason and even sports a blonde mullet wig. If you haven't had a chance to check out the new band, here's their AWESOME Facebook page. They even plan to play a private show next month in Nashville.
Maybe if we're lucky, Dierks will do a little Douglas "Big Rhythm Doug" Douglason while performing at Taste of Country in downtown Lansing at Cooley Law School Stadium on Saturday, June 13th, brought to you by Greater Michigan Ford Dealers. (By the way, you can still get your tickets for that show by clicking here.)
