From the 'this doesn't happen every day' department:

Officials say a mechanical failure is believed to have caused the release of six training bombs and a training missile from a military plane that was flying over Oscoda County in October. According to Mlive, no one was injured when the training weapons fell off the plane that was heading to Camp Grayling from Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Officials say that the non-explosive missile and the six training bombs were found in a remote wooded area near Luzerne, Michigan. Click here for more info.
