Last night a POSSIBLE tornado hit the area around Elk Lake, in northern Michigan. Elk Lake is the lake just to the west of Torch Lake. Just after 6PM last night, radar showed cloud rotation in the area and a tornado warning was issued at 6:14PM.

According to MLive.com, a couple of people got photos. And, like I always say - one good look (or photo) is worth a thousand radar sweeps. Looks like a tornado to me. The National Weather Service will be poking around the area today to confirm or deny.
