Starting in 2020, the North American International Auto Show in downtown Detroit will be held in June instead of January. According to a report from CNET, the 2020 Detroit Auto Show will now be held at the Cobo Center the week of June 8th. Officials say that holding the show that week will allow the North American International Auto Show to coincide with the annual Detroit Grand Prix. Show organizers say the new schedule will enable automakers, industry suppliers and others to "deliver dynamic exhibits and experiential opportunities outside of the show's four walls" at downtown's Cobo Center.
