The National Weather Service has issued a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for the Lansing area this Monday morning. The advisory is in effect until 8am. (Further south, the advisory will continue until 9am.) The National Weather Service says that our area will see widespread fog with visibilities lowering to around or under a quarter of a mile in some areas this mroning. Officials with the NWS say very low visibilities at night combined with areas of drizzle overnight will make travel hazardous in some areas in Mid-Michigan. Counties in the fog advisory include Branch, Calhoun, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham and Jackson.
