Delays On The Sound Wall Project On 127 Could Come With Some Hefty Fines

The delays on the 127 sound wall project could be costly.

According to the Lansing State Journal, the general contractor of the project could face a penalty of $2,650 for every day the sound wall isn't finished. That's going to really add up, especially considering that the project was supposed to have been finished by October 14th. Now, it's estimated that the project won't be finished until mid summer.
