Some Finnish guy just re-invented the axe. And that's saying something.

If you have a wood-burning stove or just enjoy a good camp-fire, this may be right up your alley. According to networx.com, a guy named Heikki Kärnä invented the axe he calls the Vipukirves Leveraxe, ten years ago, AFTER he retired from his job as an air traffic controller. He designed an axe that was weighted on one side so it would automatically turn to the right and act as a lever so it would separate the smaller cut piece of wood away from the rest of the log.
